My Blankee was born when our son, Luca, was born.
Luca's first words were "my blankee", and that's when the realization struck.

Our poem was developed for him:
I love my little blankee,
I take it wherever I go
It keeps me warm and cozy
at home or on the go"

Yet the idea that spurred our company is this:
*A baby blanket is a transitional object-absolutely vital to the development of the mind.
You see, a baby will undoubtedly feel extreme anxiety caused by increasing separation from mommy.
This is where a baby blanket comes in-a security blanket is called such because it is essential to the feeling of security of the baby.
As a great aid to this security, the mother should sleep with the blanket first in order for it to absorb her scent.
As the periods of separation grow, the baby will realize that he/she is a separate entity and is dependent on others.
But a baby blanket is always there. The baby blanket smells like mommy, like home, and it is the first possession of the child - the only thing that is truly his own.
In this way, it is a coping mechanism; the child will, for comfort, invent a bond with mommy by way of his/her blankee.
This develops the mind to eventually make use of objects, symbols, and illusion.

An independent laboratory has tested all of our fabrics for lead; they have passed all government regulations. Our fabrics are in compliance with all guidelines set by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act.

Because all of our products are made to order, your baby gift will be through production after three to five days. After production, the product will be shipped via FedEx and arrive to you in a timely manner.

Baby Blankets

Here at My Blankee, our specialty is that cherished blanket from your childhood that we know you remember quite well. : )
Maybe you fancy a snuggle blanket (14x17) or receiving blankets (30x35) for your baby and find that you too would like a luxurious blankee of your own... Fortunately, My Blankee makes toddler, throw, twin, full, queen, king, and super king sizes as well! In fact, our blankees come in nine different sizes ranging from security to super king.

Our baby blankets are available in a wide variety of fabrics and colors. We are perhaps best known for our simpler fabrics: solid velour, minky dot velour, and luxe.
However, you can design custom baby blankets at any time you choose! All we require is that you choose Side A, Side B, and a bit of charmeuse satin to garnish the edges!

Crib Bedding, Crib Bumpers, and Crib Sets

We also manufacture crib bedding a la carte and full crib sets!
These items include dust ruffles, changing pad covers, fitted crib sheets, flat crib bumpers, plush crib bumpers, pillows (includes case & insert), and pillow cases.

Crib sets come complete with a crib bumper, a dust ruffle, and a fitted crib sheet. Pillows and baby blankets may be purchased separately. All of our crib bedding can also be customized for your pleasure or to match one of our custom baby blankets!

Bibs, Burp Cloths, and Other Accessories

My Blankee also produces a handful of baby accessories. Now you can embellish your baby in style!
These, like all of our products, can be customized! Our accessories include a range of necessities and comforts: beanies, bibs, burp cloths, car seat covers, car seat/stroller cushions, nursing pillow covers, and sueded fuzzy shoe sets.

Baby Clothing

We create a line of baby attire (fit for 0-24 months old) to wrap your little one up. There are three categories: apparel, bathwear, and outerwear.
Apparel includes an array of onesies, swaddlers, pants, rompers, and warmers. Bathwear consists of infant robes and hooded towels (with our without eats). Outerwear constitutes extra cozy jackets, footsies, capes, a baby sack, and our sueded fuzzy sets!

Kids Clothing

Our line of kids' apparel (fit for 2-16 years old) is comprised of bathwear and outerwear.
Bathwear includes a line of snug robes, and outwear includes hooded pull-overs, ponchos, and jackets. Keep your little one warm and cozy.

Loungewear

My Blankee caters to mommy too with our most blissful line: our collection of robes. Our lush velours engulf the skin in cascades of velvety luxury. Available in all fabrics, reversible or satin lined, hood optional. Indulge yourself.

Velour, Luxe, Charmeuse Satin, and Other Lush Fabrics

At My Blankee, we utilize only the highest quality fabrics. They are chosen for their perpetually cuddly texture and classic design. We categorize them as follows: Plush, Solid and Embossed Velours, Velour Prints, Ultra Lightweight, and Charmeuse Satin.

We are best known for our two classic fabrics: solid velour and minky dot velour. The minky dot is an embossed design with slightly raised dots evenly spaced throughout - the texture is sure to appeal to your baby. We boast a plentiful collection of velour prints too, ranging from classic animal prints and delicate floral patterns to simple geometrics: stripes, retro dots, and on. Our plush fabrics include our decadent luxe, snail, and on. Ultra lightweight fabrics are two-sided fabrics (cuddly on both sides); because they achieve this in one ply, they have less weight to them. Our charmeuse satin is extra silky and smooth and is available in a great many colors or a few simple patterns. All fabrics are available for purchase.
